Battle against Corruption for the Future of Next Generation

Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the National Security Workshop which was being attended by an 87-member delegation from Balochistan.

Prime Minister Office (PMO’s) media office, today, has said that “The participants belonged to different spheres of life.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country could not make progress when its resources were plundered and the corrupt criminals kept on stuffing their personal coffers, and declared that the ongoing battle against corruption and corrupt elements would help secure future of Pakistan and its upcoming generations. The elements who nurtured fears that their corruption would be exposed, and that they would be nabbed, had been crying hoarse,

The prime minister said a country could not progress when criminals held the high offices. Few elements were asking the government to focus on other issues and neglect those criminals who had never been sincere with the country, he added. About government's reforms, the prime minister said they faced fiscal and trade deficit challenges but due to the government's efforts on the economic front, stability was achieved as manifested in the economic indicators of the country.

About China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the prime minister said it would benefit the whole country specially Balochistan province and would usher in an era of progress and prosperity in the province. He observed that with the development of Gwadar port as an economic hub of the country, the whole province would reap fruits.

Sports and corruption:

There are a a lot of corruption cases in the sports sector of Pakistan. The Pakistan football federation was banned by Fifa because of the corruption charges and the board of PFF did not use any funds given to them by Fifa.

There is another dirty side of corruption in sports which called spot fixing. it is an illegal activity and it destroys the integrity of the sport.There are many Pakistani players that are linked with spot fixing charges.

GDP to grow by 4.2pc in Next 5 Years

ISLAMABAD – The leading UK based consultancy Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) has published its latest report forecasting an average 4.2 percent GDP growth for Pakistan in the next five years. As per the World Economic League Table 2020, published by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), Pakistan had a PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) adjusted GDP per capita of $5,872 in 2019, making it a lower middle-income country. State, Clerics and Pandemic

During the PM Imran Khan’s live telethon on the national television, he had held women of Pakistan responsible for the corona-virus pandemic.
